The Paradise Royale Mountain Bike Race

Where Grit Meets the Coast: A Race Like No Other

Get ready for an unforgettable ride at the Paradise Royale Mountain Bike Race on October 11th, 2025! Join us this fall as we tackle the remote and rugged trails of the King Range National Conservation Area—where steep mountains drop into the Pacific and adventure is always around the bend. This course is packed with flowy singletrack, technical climbs, fast descents, and jaw-dropping ocean views.

It’s not just a race—it’s a challenge, a celebration, and a whole lot of fun. For the second time this year, we’re excited to welcome back the E-Bike class, giving more riders the chance to experience the thrill of Paradise Royale in their own way.

New this year, we’re adding a long course option—built for those endurance-driven riders who crave a little extra challenge and distance.

Whether you're gunning for glory, pushing your personal edge, or chasing the thrill of the unknown, the Paradise Royale delivers a wild and unforgettable ride.

Explore the Lost Coast: A One-of-a-Kind Mountain Biking Adventure

Tucked away on the remote Northern California coastline, the King Range offers a mountain biking experience like no other. These trails take you deep into lush forests, up rocky climbs, and down smooth, fast descents—with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean around every corner.

The terrain is raw, the dirt is dialed, and the ride is as wild as the landscape itself. Whether you're here for the challenge or the scenery, Riding the Lost Coast is an experience all its own—rugged, remote, and unforgettable.

Ride in Crisp, Coastal Fall Weather

Fall on the Lost Coast is a special kind of magic. October brings cool mornings, golden afternoon light, and a refreshing coastal breeze that keeps temps just right for riding. While much of California bakes in late-season heat, the King Range stays mild and comfortable—perfect for endurance efforts or a day of scenic flow. The forests are alive with color, the air is clear, and the trails stay tacky and fast. It’s the kind of weather that makes you want to ride all day.

Paradise Royale Course Overview:

This 12.2-mile course with over 2,000 feet of elevation gain delivers a ride that’s as rewarding as it is rugged. Set deep in the wild terrain of the King Range Conservation Area, the route offers a true taste of backcountry mountain biking—where every climb, corner, and descent comes with a side of jaw-dropping views and raw natural beauty.

From flowy singletrack to rock gardens, berms, and tight switchbacks, the trail dishes out just the right mix of challenge and fun. And for those hungry for a test of endurance, the legendary Prince of Pain awaits—a brutal uphill grind that’s steep, technical, and unrelenting. Conquer it, and you’ve earned serious bragging rights.

New this year: we’re offering a long course option for riders ready to double down. Two full laps mean twice the climbing, twice the thrill, and one epic adventure.

Unreal Views and Untamed Coastline

There aren’t many places where you can rip down singletrack with the Pacific Ocean stretching out beside you—but that’s exactly what the Lost Coast delivers. It’s one of the last untouched stretches of coastline in the country, and riding here means fully immersing yourself in raw, coastal beauty. From dramatic ocean cliffs to peaceful forest pockets, this landscape offers riders a rare chance to truly disconnect and get lost—in the best way possible.

Test Your Grit Against the Best

The Paradise Royale course is home turf for some seriously fast local riders—athletes who know every twist, turn, and climb. They've set blistering times on these trails, and now it’s your shot to take them on. Whether you're racing to crush the leaderboard or just looking for an unforgettable ride, this course will test your strength, focus, and endurance.

Think you’ve got what it takes? Bring your best and rise to the challenge.
